One more question - when you say packaged do you mean you created the packages just or you actually submitted them also to extras devel?

I'm pretty new to this whole packaging thing as you might have noticed!

Are you running the game from the terminal?

This crash may be because it is writing the highscore to a file and i guess you must need root previledges to write.

I have caght the write exception in the latest version i will upload very soon so at least the game continues!

Yes I have found one bug where I was using relative paths and that is fixed but something else is still causing it to crash that I haven't worked out just yet...

Anyway the latest version is attached - this also makes it less annoying as you dont die as often by accidental movement of the accelerometer.

If you want it to work from the desktop you could try copying the snapy.desktop file into /usr/share/applications/hildon.... But as per usual I have to warn its at your own risk. Don't blame me if you N900 explodes in a call of flames!

The .desktop file runs it from the terminal which seems to work for some reason.

I got help to upload the first version to extras but not sure he can help again so I'm gonna have to try work out this packaging malarky now. ... :P
