And Papywizard does not start at all? Can you try to launch it from a console ($ papywizard.sh)?

Any idea what can cause such problem?

Errm that *was* the output from the console. As for the cause, no idea. Do you use DBUS in your app ? I wouldn't find it impossible that it's the same error that causes PyQt to die, too, albeit in a nastier way.

I don't use DBUS myself, but one of the modules might (bluetooth?)

Does a strace give more informations?

attila77, are there some Papywizard log before the D-bus error message? Or does it occurs before I output anything?

That’s the complete output, from pressing enter to getting back the prompt. I dont have strace on the device, sadly

If you have some time, could you try to launch a python console, and execute one by one the lines from the xxx/papywizard/scripts/main.py (starting by importing the modules)?

Thanks for your help.

It seems there is a new release of maemo 5. Could someone give a new try to Papywizard on a N900?

Thanks!

I still get a segmentation fault with the PyQt version. The PySide version seems to have some missing dependencies (I had to install pyside-qt4-uitools manually). Unfortunately the current pyside-qt4-uitools package seems to be empty, so I get an import error and can't test that any further.

EDIT: Just checked the PySide website - apparently
QUITools isn't available for Maemo as the official C++ package doesn't contain it.
