Too bad there's a need to update to libqt 4.6.2 to be able to try this one out :/

I'm just getting the following message when I try to install it:
Unable to install 'Eve Online homescreen widget'
Conflict with application packages: libqt4-maemo5-svg (4.6.2~git20100128-Omaemo1)

I have upgraded to the PR1.2 and have the following application catalogs active:
Nokia Applications
Nokia System Software Updates
Ovi
maemo.org
Joikusoft Products
Maemo extras-devel
Mozilla Catalog

Any advice on how to install this? I would really like to have it :=)

Actually, in the meantime you can download a PR1.2 -compatible package from the garage project page:
https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_...elease_id=3663

I'm attaching the .deb also here.
Attached Files
File Type: deb evehomescreen_0.1.0-2_armel.deb (56.7 KB, 90 views)

Does not install, says qt4-maemo5-homescreen-loader is missing. Maybe this happens because I installed the non-PR1.2 version earlier, updated it and then removed it?

Reboot didn't help either. And I did remove it the first time because it didn't show up in Widgets.

Suddenly the install works, guess there is a new version that works Great work!

One question: How can I have two different characters on the desktop at the same time?

Yes, I uploaded the newest version to extras-devel yesterday. Glad to hear it installs!.

At the moment you can only have one character. Good ideas on how to support more characters would be welcome The size of the widget is static so it's a bit tricky to come up with a clean way.

@tripmckay the new version is in extras-devel, you can try installing from there.

Installs just fine now

Although I had to reboot for the widget list to update, but this was the case upon removing e.g. the Twitter widget, too.

For multiple character support: Automatic cycling of the characters is not a good idea, it would drain battery. How about changing the character that is displayed by clicking the widget?
