The source code has a midi.c file.
So it seems like midi music is supported.
But I can't confirm that, cause I just have the demo version.

I couldn't get the demo to work, I renamed the files etc but no dice. had to "find" the full version to get it to work

I dont think there is a music option in the setup screens. Is a shame as prdoom also has the music missing.

The demo version works fine
Try to run the game in xterminal (just type "rott" and press enter)
What did you get?

ye I think I mentioned in an earlier post that it's best to run in xterm so as to identify the problems when they occur.

It basically complained about not having the darkwar.wad, I renamed the demo (it's different) to darkwar but it just wouldn't run...

I found this game to be really creepy for some reason. Everything about this game feels out of place and nothing really makes sense. The photographic enemy graphics added to the oddness.

Doesn't stop me from trying it out, though! -b

Yeah - I had complaints from the upstairs neighbours after playing it - apparently the low booming in God Mode caused the entire house to vibrate

But yes, it's great fun to play and there's lots of fun bits in there - especially shroom mode!
