I couldn't update the catalogue, so couldn't install Opera. Perhaps server overload, since everyones trying to download ?

Anyone else have this prob, if i exit opera it resets next time i open it? i have to re accept the terms and all settings reset and user bookmarks are gone

No, this is a full web browser, unlike Opera Mini. It does however support Opera Turbo, which provides similar benefits.

Sounds great, I'll see how it works. We're starting to get quite a collection of browsers.

A lot of the time I use my N900 on a 2G connection and at least on my E71 Opera was still quite fast even on such low speed network, so maybe this could be my low-bandwith browser.

Yep, and the setting doesnt seems to save my bookmark are gone. I also notice you can't remove bookmarks, longpress reveals a menu but then it disappear.

You can; after the long press, do not slide, but release your finger/stylus, and press the menu option. It works the same way with a long press on a link (open in new window
