VirtualBox works just as well for N900 development, works on Macs, and is free.

Uninstall process is easy, and why would you use Windows when doing development with the N900 when you can use Ubuntu or Debian and get a better environment?

I went with windows because I do a lot of CAD work. But I could do Ubuntu since I used it a while ago.
So I just download Ubuntu, burn the ISO onto a CD and I'm good?

What is MAC good for? Compared to Windows and Linux it has less security and is much worse at multitasking. Plus it doesn't have the freedom of linux or the support of windows. The only thing it has going for it is some eye candy.
I'm sorry. I am biased. I hate anything that is Apple. But these are facts too.

Don't even bother with burning it. When you create the virtual machine in VirtualBox, you can point it at the ISO and it'll treat it like a CD.
Windows offers nothing over Linux when it comes to N900 development. Nokia's Qt tools are identical, and you can work with scratchbox if needed.
