Yes I can confirm that. I was crying about performance loss from leaked PR 1.2 hoping its only because of unofficial version.
Base on my project flaemo I noticed about 30% performance loss. (intentionally I' was using exactly the same build and version) Big impact on smoothness when you sliding the desktop. I was even trying to replace old version of plug-in, no differences. Seems to me like this is issue related with new MicroB improvements.
This PR completely made my project useless via MicroB, previously the whole solution was designed just for that environment. Pushing performance tweaks to the limit I was very happy with result. But at the moment whatever I'm trying to do even small experiments with few items on the stage, on low quality... the same symptoms.
Seems to me like something from outside keep attacking flash plug-in constantly. And my bet is I/O. Because when you run Flash files using FlashLauncher instead, performance is brilliant, but try to enter some text into input field and you'll see how quickly and repeatable hardware trying to pass data to the flash player making it stuck.
I think guys founded the way around and using some dirty hack to stop any external signals since flash player sits on MicroB. But this encapsulation unfortunately cost N900 to much resources.
That's why I was so p*** off that day. The same day news about lack of 10.1 in the future and Flash 9 working even worst. Flash It's big deal for me since I bought this device as my primary mobile testing platform. Now I can enjoy everything else I love about N900 expect I love the most....
