The mobility packages (1.0) are available and seem to work just fine.

I cant tell you if the mobility packages are on the "main repositories" or not because I installed them by installing the examples packages.

The mobility example packages are available on the "tools" repository:

Catalog name: Tools
Address: http://repository.maemo.org
Distribution: fremantle/tools
Components: free non-free

Hi,

I think this blog clarifies the situation a bit. Please don't use the tools repository on device. With the first qt-mobility application on device the needed dependencies will be pulled automatically.

Before official PR 1.2 mobility applications build in SDK and deployed to phone worked. Now for example applications using GPS are randomly crashing or not working. I thought PR 1.2 would make things easier.

If your trying to get Qt Mobility working with PR 1.2 try this link.

http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...up_Qt_Mobility

The libraries are on the repos.

I don't get it, guys: can we use QtMobility with Nokia SDK or not? I tried but I don't seem to have the right headers.

Anyone knows how to get QtMobility to play along with the Nokia SDK?

You have added CONFIG+=mobility and MOBILITY+=location etc. to pro-file?

Nokia SDK comes with QtMobility but the version in SDK differs to the version in the phone. You can get new version of MADDE and use it in QtCreator (Options -> Qt4 -> Add new version -> MADDE_PATH/0.6.72/targets/fremantle-pr12/bin/qmake).
