I too hoped for an improved/usable calendar, but I had no unrealistic expectations of Nokia surprising with adding more than they would... realistically be expected to... Only previously announced features, bug fixes and things they always intended to put there but didn't get ready in time for 1.0.

As a matter of fact, I find it in my heart to believe the only reason we got as much new functionality as the video calls brings, was the fact that the front side camera stands out like a sly marketing decision when there's no actual use for it.

So, this is pretty much what I expected, except I didn't expect video calls ANY LONGER; I expected it when I first read up on the device.

The only thing that I've noticed is that my screen sometimes goes dark. Or, just a battery shows on top. Not a reboot, just kinda going blank . . .

Otherwise, I didn't see so much improvements.
I've lost a Facebook Sharing Service.

Autodisconnect really is nice. I am happy for the 1.2 update for one specific thing......portrait browsing. Makes it so much better now that it autorotates hehe.

Mine's there. As long as you have the widget, you should have it

I was really waiting for skype video calls, but now it's here it doesn't work with ANY of my contacts. Really impressing. I can now add my N900 as a device in iSync, but I have still not been able to sync anything.

Great improvements

I'm very impressed with PR1.2 so far.

The Media Player widget works properly now, as does hovering over a link in MicroB to open the link in a new window.

I like the new virtual keyboard too.

I've also noticed that battery life is better, having lasted over a day and a half now, with fairly heavy usage, and it's still going. Yesterday morning, at 9am it was unplugged from the mains, and was used while I walked into uni, as I was listening to music - about 30mins of music. Then I sat outside the exam hall and did some last-minute revision for about an hour of glancing at Powerpoint presentations in Freoffice. Then the phone was off for 2hrs during my exam, and then it's been on again since. 30mins of music on the walk home from uni and then a few phone calls, texts and about 3 hours of browsing/youtube videos yesterday evening. I disabled the 3G radio over night and again I've used it about 2hours this morning, browsing the internet over wifi and a couple of texts sent. BatteryGraph says it's at 16% now. Pretty happy with that, much better than before.

I like the CTRL+SHIFT+R rotation in programs, although it's annoying that it doesn't remember that I've done that keypress next time I open the application. I'd love to find a way to enable it on an application and then it be like that permanently until disabled again - much like MicroB was in PR1.1.1 with the rotation shortcut.

Volume control while the phone is locked is also great, very glad to see that included.

Overall, pretty impressed so far. Shame to hear about other people having troubles with Flash though, that's a bit ****. If I think of anything else, I'll update here.

Your contact must have the latest version of skype. iSync works via USB

I have noticed about 30% increase in batterylife and that was all I was asking for.
