I heard flashing for Wins 7 64-bit is not working. Beside, i don't want flash....flash is for people that have screwed up their device...there is nothing wrong w/ my device. It's the software that ain't loading up. Nokia sucks.

I can't get OTA even though i have 61mb of rootf (i heard people can install it even with less than 61mb, go figure!)
Flashing is the easiest way to get what you want on your device, not just "for people that have screwed up their device". Your right Nokia should make NSU work properly, but it doesn't so use Flasher 3.5 which does work. If you do take a hammer to your N900 in a fit of pique, I hope it makes you happy blaming the phone for NSU's and the not entiely blameless Microsoft's shortcomings.

Or maybe smash the phone because the computer is not working.

[sarcasm]I know how you feel. The fuel pump wouldn't work so I smashed my car with a brick... [/sarcasm]

Seriously look at this wiki before smashing anything: http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware

FYI Ubuntu is free and if you have professional or ultimate win 7 what's the problems with installing it?

Did you try to reinstall it?

you have compatability mode so you could revert back to xp. I run win7 64bit with no issues.
