please dont shoot me, i'm just a guy who is learning his way in to maemo and i want to try the suggested solution and flash the emmc. but what is fiasco?

first vanilla without -r
second fiasco with -r

???

I am not shooting you, I am correcting possible sources for your problems here.

flasher-3.5 -F PR1.2.bin -f
flasher-3.5 -F eMMC.bin -fR

is the correct way to do it.

Correct. The -R will do a reboot of the phone, and you shouldn't do that inbetween the two re-flashes

i did the steps of flashing emmc so i'm gonna try everything again
