That thought occured to me also. I can't access using the rogers network access point however, I use internet.fido.ca also fido shows up as my provider in the status bar.

I think I should put in a bug report as mentioned in paulvt's post above.

Thanks Paul, I have confirmed/added to this bug report as it is the same as my bug created with a similar general connection setup.
