If version 5 is working fine... there is no reason to install 6. Go ahead and put the files on the N900.

Yep entirely wrong. Should be a space between /* and the next part ( the first address is the source of where the files as... the second is where we are copying them to. Also add an extra / at the end of the line.. so it becomes baseq3/
Note that if it works it will simply show a white line while processing.. no error.

Do i have to type root first before doing these commands?
It says cp: cannot stat home/user/MyDocs/quake/* : No such file or directory
I keep getting these type of errors. Do i hvae to manually create a baseq3 folder or does that command suppose to make it for you i ask this because the only folder i created myself is the quake folder per your instructions and it has the pak files in there.

Yes you probably need to be root. Also make sure you are typing /home/user/MyDocs/quake (and verify you put all your pak files in that folder).

No, the asterisk designates you want all files in that folder to be copied....
Now is where we give up on the xterm and go install Midnight Commander and use that to copy the pak files into the /home/user/baseq3/ folder.

It probably took a lot longer for me as I was copying off my MicroSD card.
Equals key is the only button that isn't the same as the usual. = is basically subsituted for escape. So hold Fn + , to back a menu. Use arrow keys (or tap) to navigate menus and enter to proceed.
I leave the accelerometer on, but you can disable it by modifying config files (just do a search in the other quake 3 threads.. it's been described plenty of times).
