I agree - and it wasn't even clear to me that I would be charged for the texts - they just said "at local SMS cost". My phone contract has unlimited text messages included, but the Nokia 84000 number doesn't count for free messages.

Got it but not doing it although I plan to send Nokia a stinky email telling them what I think about them.

Mind didn't even work.

When I sent SURVEY to 84000 I got the first question back claiming to be from 4400 which when I tried to send my answer I just got "invalid number" as there is clearly a digit missing. I didn't try manually sending it to 84000 as I didn't see the point in case that is wrong too, with the texts charging.

I do think its disgusting, if they want feedback so badly the texts should be free or at least from my inclusive ones. Or e-mail me the survey, or ask me to fill it in when I next visit Ovi Store, so many options.

I got it and replied but have yet to get hte two questions. There was a web based one a while back which had tons more stuff in it to answer, so not sure what 2 questions will do in reality?

What is 12p compared to £486. I can cover the cost of a text.

This doesnt sound like a very well considered survey, more of a straw poll. As someone already mentioned the real survey is this forum.

Replied "SURVEY" straight after getting the text message this lunchtime but that is all I have heard. Would love to tell Nokia what I think of them.

I received a text message today saying that Nokia valued my opinion about the N900 and wanted me to take part in a 2 questions survey.

Q1 asked what score out of 1 to 10 I would give the device, when I replied I then received Q2 asking why I given it such a score?

Given the continued "noise" on this forum etc about lack of support are nokia starting to finally take notice of thier N900 customers or is this just a standard Nokia survey they do for all their devices?

The thread "Anybody else had a text message from Nokia asking them to take part in a N900 survey?" with one posts has been merged into this thread.
