I second getting super mario rpg to work. Otherwise I'm playing Etrian Odyssey 2 on the Desmume at 4-12 fps.

Redshift's "The Quest" run in the Garnet VM. It is a 3D RPG with some very rich graphics.

I havent played Albion on the N900, but I have fond memories of playing it years ago on my then current xomputer.

Chrono Trigger on SNES and Super Mario 64 on mupen64plus. Both run perfectly and Super Mario 64 works with joysticks on sixaxis.
