Jezz as you are in the UK it should work.
Sign up here http://signup.tvcatchup.com/ if that doesn't work check that your IP address is being detected as been in the UK.
My IP address was once with a company called E7 and at one point it was reporting that I lived in Holland, when in fact it was Berks

I can still only get a few seconds of play before it freezes. I don't seem to be able to access mplayer at the top of the screen either, unless that is just an empty banner?

What a great application. Just signed up to say thanks. I get it

smooth on 3G. (Very unexpected) The cache mod is a must. I

changed mine to 5048.

Just to add where can I get the controls for full screen?

Is it the media player controls if so where can I find them? searching

help files at the moment.

Ctrl + F

Full screen - same again to get out of it from what i've found - compared it next to an iphone and the colours of the football pitch / players looked better on the n900 - sometimes the n900 artifacts for a few seconds.

I get pretty smooth play back on 3G / 3.5G & WiFi

No issues with freezing for me... i've had it on E4 while driving in the holder with FM Transmitter on for sound so i can watch tele in the car when i park up on my travels

Where is the creator of this app ? be good to see the tele channel picture icons used in the list or something.

Ive no used the recording function btw..

I find this app works better quality wise & smoother than the VLC alternative.

When you hit record you get the following pop up which allows you to specify the download location.

So for example mine is now set to:

/home/user/MyDocs/.videos/rec.ts

(Recorded video is located in the My Videos section of the My Documents on the N900)

Using file manager i locate the video file (located above)

Hope this helps.

Have installed this and x-term opened and it is just showing rows like:
103: downloaded 2221 bytes
104: etc, etc

It's currently on row 119

Is this normal?

Blocky artifacts are within the video stream as far as I can tell, because the same video stream played on a PC with high speed broadband also displays the same artifacts. While their flash site for the PC has a high quality none blocky stream. If only the mobile stream was the same as the PC version because the N900 is more than capable of playing it.

Here is a high quality stream for BBC parliament channel it's used for IPTV so is TV quality and the N900 can play it fine on a none overclocked system using only 75% CPU
