Do you have a wireless network adapter on your PC?
If yes, get connectify at http://connectify.me/ to create a wireless network with internet connection sharing.
It also works for streaming media from windows media player to your N900.

And.. i tried what you have told exactly about configuring Wifi and i was successfull to connect my n900 to my pc wifi.

When im trying to open any webpage it shows page not found. I can open the same page in PC. I even tried to pen maemo.org in phone but i cant.

Please help me out of this.
Possible the DNS problem.
Take a look what is the dns that you are using by going to start -> run -> cmd
nslookup
write down the DNS.

and in your n900 ->
sudo gainroot (you need to install rootsh)
and check your /etc/resolv.conf

If its 127.0.0.1 -> change it to the DNS that you got from the windows.
after that, try it again.
