I would suggest some fact checking. The iPhone 2G is exactly three years old, and in maintenance mode. In reality, the Android land is suffering from upgrade crysis at least as much as the N900. If you allow community hacks for Android as 'valid' upgrade paths, well, we have that too (check the N900 MeeGo adaptation projects) - even though an official upgrade would have been way better of course.
