i'm not going to install this just for the rant, for 2 reasons

1) i dont need the app
2) installing a closed-source unverified app from someone who seems to have recently developed a rather large grudge against the target handset's manufacturer seems a little... risky

(no offence qwerty, i'm sure you understand the concern!)

Don't install it. You can read the rant without installing. I can't post it here because it would be rapidly moderated into oblivion, but I can give the instructions for people to read it:

One your N900 if you have the proper tools installed (less, wget, strings) or on your preferred GNU/Linux distribution:

mkdir contents
cd contents
dpkg-deb --extract ../rant.deb .

Page down a few times and you'll see the long rant. It's fun.

I couldnt be bothered reading it honestly. great app...

only thing, track skip doesnt work for me but this may be due to a previous hack/mod ive done.

Well can I say I am really sad? I thought we were here for fun, mainly. Not to ruin our lives on tablets and phones, and closed sources.
Qwerty12, you've been a great presence here, a light, believe it or not. You did it because you liked it and your competence, your passion and your helpfulness were absolutely clear to everybody. This place is going to lose a good part of its soul.
But then, man, if you feel like that, I guess you better leave.

I'm going to second Texrat's note on your complete and total lack of tact with your immature and excessively vulgar rant.

Perhaps on your way out you could have not tied yourself to such a crude flipping of the bird to people here, especially considering the good work you've done.
