I agree with you on both points, but to just state that something is "sh*te" without reasoned argument shows a lack of intelligence, bad manners and poor understanding.
Not all N900 proponents are fanboys and this site is not a consumer forum. I think we'd all welcome reasoned and considered criticism to add to the discussion. That is the only way the community can work to improve the N900.
If posters lack the courage of their convictions, they should not post here in the first place. That applies to those on both sides of the divide.

On a side note, this community is going to keep the N900 alive. You guys are really helpful and really quite patient when it comes to dealing with the consumers that fell for the initial N900 marketing, and didn't realise quite what an unsupported device they have just signed up to for 24 months, and that they would need to put quite alot of effort in to get in anywhere.
I'm sure you guys will get meego working on the N900, lets hope by the time it's out the hardware won't be too old for it mind! And I hope for Nokia's sake that it's a hit. I personally don't think it will be, if it's just another small punt at a bit of market share it won't work and I think that will be the end of Nokia
Hope this community keep momentum and that once the 18 month and 24 month contracts end the phone doesn't get forgotten!

Videos will be in .videos & Pictures will be in DICM folder once you connect to the PC. If you are connecting to a GNU/Linux Distribution, the . files are taken as hidden files and will not be shown. You will have to press "Cltr+H" in nautilus file browser.
To back up your contacts just go to contacts and click on "All contacts" on the top and the "Export"
Hope this helps.
