Hi there

Install your app without any probs.

I like it - nice and simple - perfect for sharing notes between desktop and phone.

Haven't encountered any bugs yet. One small display corruption at top and bottom of note window when scrolling up/down but it's not a biggie.

Will try and give more feedback when I've had more chance to play.

Congratulations on worthy app

Yup, I have that too. Seems it's an artefact of "kinetic scrolling" in Qt/Maemo. At first I thought it was a problem in my view, but I noticed Khertan's KhtEditor has the same effect when moving the code window inside the editor...

Thanks (blush). It's my first (public) one in a long time too.

I have some improvements I want to work on now, then if you still haven't found any nasties I'll make a more formal annoucement in a dedicated topic.

Enhancement suggestions also welcome, if not too complicated :-)

Haha no way sir, those silly iPhones will never have me!

I was unaware of the Evernote client altogether, thanks Jedi

As for the Conboy vs Evernote vs Simplenote thing, I like the idea of Evernote and the sheer power of it, but Simplenote's streamlined, low-tech is faster especially if relying on wireless internet whilst on the move.

And Conboy is okay but a little stone-age, where Simplenote expands upon it with a few simple yet powerful features like tags and whatever.

...Although fpp I've noticed you've based your SnXM on the 1.0 API which means no tags anyway ahaha. I'll give it a shot though, and let you know how it goes

Good news :-)

Personally I use both Evernote and Simplenotes as appropriate. SnXM has one strong point over the N900 Evernote client : it can be used offline to create new notes or access those already synchronized.

Also, you can relax on the tags issue anyway, because the Simplenote API 2.0 was "published" just around the time I released SnXM 1.0 (typical, right ? :-). I'm studying it right now, but it's already clear there is nothing in it about tags, so apart from being "RESTful" as they say, it has nothing much over 1.0. I guess that will come later...

Indeed it is ! Thanks for the mention, I'd probably not have noticed myself...

I love bugs that fix themselves like that :-)
