Hi thanks for the comment, can you make a screenshot of it? Because when I use it in portrait mode every button shows fine like below:

Hi!

I actually have changed my font to new Courier and that caused the problem. New Courier letter space seems to bit wider than example in Nokia Sans. So with Nokia Sans problem is solved and everything else works also fine

Nice little application. It would be nice if you could add dates and password protection. Also, if you can add the option for daily diary/journal capabilities.

Great ideas, but I think they might be a little to complex to keep EasyList easy and simple.

I've created EasyList with one goal in mind and that's simpleness. I've seen a few list apps which were a bit to advanced for my likings. They all have their good points, but usually when my gf sends me a shopping list :') through e-mail I just want to copy that text and paste it into a list program which generates a checkable list from it.
I can then do shopping and hopefully never forget an item again.

I've based the functionality of EasyList on my own use-cases:
- Paste text into the app and let it generate a list.
- It needs to work in portrait, because I don't want to hold the phone with both hands when shopping.
- Need to switch to landscape mode automatically when keyboard is opened.
- Sort checked items to bottom
- Save the list and checked states for later use

I really do appreciate your input and ideas and they are great ideas. I just felt that I owe you an explanation when I decide that your ideas might be to complex for the purpose of the app. I hope you can understand.

Thanks for checking out EasyList.

btw Dont know if u missed one of my posts because it was last in the page.

but i proposed and idea of changed the background colors of the checked item to greyish or something like that. unchecked items could be like they are with black background and white text.

Ah I could have missed that one. I will look into that and see if I can provide a solution.

Thanks!

I've given it a look and it seems that a QCheckBox or any control with a special OS-dependent background can't be given a background color without wrecking the look-and-feel of it.

What I can do is give the text another color (lets say grey) when the QCheckBox is checked. This would make the checked items less noticable. But I'm afraid changing the background isn't really worth the effort and would make de checkbox a bit uglier if I were to redesign them graphically...

In version 0.3.10 I've now made it so that text of checked items will grey out and it will be striked through.
