Simon (Hawaii),

By far, you have the quickest turn-around time of anyone on this forum! I will give NetDiscover a go immediately, I've loved the tool in Back Track and looking forward to putting it to good mobile use on the N900!

On a different note, does your screen shot show "5G" in the signal strength bar or am I hallucinating?

...on another side note... I almost don't want the N9 to come too quickly because I know many folks on the tech bleeding edge will move to it right away (perhaps even yourself), which will leave the N900 community without a true following... long live the N900 (with MeeGo, please developers!)

or

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon ? If you don't know off the top of your head don't worry about going out of your way to checking - I can mess around with it myself anyway.
I put them in ~/.local so they take precedence over any theme I set.

Haha, when I'm on the forums - I'm usually on a phone call or killing time, so I can get things done quickly if you catch me.

Happy to be of service.

Heh, yes, that very clearly does say 5 G under his signal bars... *Stares suspiciously* What time-traveling cell-signal-through-wormhole-transporting black magic do you have that we don't?

I got sick of looking at "2.5G" all the time since my carrier runs UMTS on 850MHz, so I changed it.

I mean...I'm testing networks that won't be available until 2032
