Someone who works on the Nokia "blog relations site" commented that a Skype pr person told her that Skype was still being readied for the N800, which I was glad to hear.

Yeah Skype is ready... just finshing off a few things... I know a very high ranking woman who works at Nokia and she said the upgrade is scheduled for June 11, 2007.

Always seems to happen to me... I'm heading to Europe for a month-long trip starting May 26. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with high roaming rates on my mobile. Sigh.

Ever eared of Gizmo? It is a very good alternative to Skype and it is already available on N800
