Hi,
you must deinstall advanced-power-monitor and advanced-power with
apt-get --purge remove advanced-power-monitor advanced-power
as root on console. By this procedure apt-get give you a message that some directory could not delete. Remove this directory and install both packages again.
After this and a reboot everything working fine on my n900.

I wonder who currently maintains advanced-power-*. It seems like their garage page has been abandoned (or someone else is pushing the version numbers up

I have the same problem after I installed the latest package. I am not good at scripts so could anyone pls. give me a step by step instructions and full version scripts for solving this problem. Besides, how can I remove the directories mentioned above? Pls. help.
Some idea/help?
