Dependencies often have category "utils" or "lib" or something while Hildon App Manager needs category "user/something".
These "incompatible" packages can be installed through X Terminal.
as root
dpkg -i /path/file.deb

oh boy we can do manual method to install predownloaded package provided the required dependencies are met.

i had the same problem in pr1.2, but when i updated to 1.3 it got fixed, so u could try reflashing?

Hmm...

python2.5-qt4-common

Did all the apt-get blah and it still tells me that the application package is not installed

Did the install process again, and term tells me it's the latest version...

?

pls help me as well anytime i try to update my application it reads application list partially refreshed. some catalogues unavailable. check catalogues details and the details are:
1. Nokia applications
2. Nokia system software updates
3.ovi
4. Skype
what do i do

What catalogue isn't available? Skype? (I don't have Skype in the list of catalogues). Disable it?

What ever suits you best, easy way or unnecessary complex way.

1. It's strange. Do you have internet connection at all?
2. Hildon App Manager->Titlebar Menu->Catalogues
Each catalogue has his own button "Disable".

since i don't have fast and cheap gprs/3g nor got wifi, downloading those via pc becomes necessary.
