B&Q, local hardware store, Asda, Homebase etc.. all only had the size 0 philips screwdrivers. I eventually looked in at the big Tesco's here and amazingly they had the same pack (from the same manufacturer) as Asda, but, with an added size 00 philips screwdriver that I was after. I think I'll just go straight to Tesco from now on.. they seem to have everything

EDIT found these last week when I thought my screen had a problem! turned out it was me with the problem so didn't buy and therefore can't vouch...
Thanks, I'm just on my way to Maplin now

Yeah, I got my screen from ebay, and I'm pretty impressed, I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning

I broke my screen when it was in my pocket. I think the magnetic button on the cheap case I brought was pushed into the screen!

I got one off ebay for £35 and although fiddly, wasn't too hard to replace, except for the tiny ribbon connectors!

I'm using N900 for nearly a year and both LCD and digitizer is in perfect state.

Well, I guess I didn't drop my precious even once :P

I came of my push-bike on the ice before Christmas, landing on the leg in which pcoket my phone resides. LCD totally knackered, but the touchscreen still worked enabling me to backup my data by using the TV-out to see what I was doing. Sent it back to Nokia who, it seems, have repaired or replaced it; will find out which when I get back to the address its been returned to on New Year's Day.

Got a replacement device after a botched repair by nokia and was basically leaving the n900 at home for occasional development.

Last day at my old job yesterday so thought I would bring the n900 in and take some pictures. Got it home to find the lcd was broken

No external signs of damage at all. It's like a pixie snuck in to the casing and took a pick to the lcd...
