No I regret but it must work, I have tried now myself

If N900 is connect (without battery) to a PC (of course a turned on pc) by USB, when you reinsert the battery N900 turns on automatically and near immediately.

I repeat I have tried (many tries) now on my N900

Ok, my syster have a nokia 5230, and the battery is the same... I charge it into the 5230..

Other phones with same battery (5800 XPress Music, C6, ...etc) or an external battery charger (less than 6.00E on Ebay)

I thought you could charge the N900 if the battery is too low to power on by starting it in development mode (by holding the U key) while hooked up to a PC?

Ok, I've flashed n900 and it work, but the first loading is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow. :S Why??

The very first boot is always very slow.

Il primo avvio è sempre abbastanza lento Mirko. E' normale, vedrai che i prossimi boot saranno normali

Uhm but it don't read the sim!
(Non mi legge la sim, come mai?E comunque anche riavviando, sempre lentissimo..)

Prova a rimuoverla e reinserirla. Cmq vedrai che la velocità di boot si assesterà.

Damn I haven't seen that you are italian.
I have links to italian's how-to with solutions to your problems and without need to reinstall all

Insomma se ci facevo più caso a quel dettaglio non perdevo tempo a sforzarmi di scrivere in inglese e ti davo direttamente i link in italiano e non dovevi mica reinstallare tutto (solo il kernel bastava)
