There is a way to repartition /home without losing ANY data. I managed to do it so anyone can. It involves creating a bootable cd, containing a thing called gparted, then plug your n900 into the pc and just resize it from there. Whole thing took me about 15 minutes and now have a 2gb partition for android, a 4gb partition for /home and MyDocs storage has been reduced by 4. Real easy and fairly quick, plus you don't need a linux pc. The hardest part for me was booting into gparted because I kept trying to make bootable usb stick and my windows pc didn't like it. Cd worked first time though.
