But this doesn't work for me Nicolai, after the second code it just stops there showing ">" And the wallpaper doesn't change...
It does show some white dots though...

I already open the camera lens and the gstreamer is running, but it doesn't change the wallpaper, do i need to do something first?
Edit : the other code used to run gstreamer works (quarktv) but the quality is lower... Could someone help me make the first one works?

This probably means you missed one quote ("):
xprop -name "gst-launch-0.10" -f _HILDON_LIVE_DESKTOP_BACKGROUND 32i -set _HILDON_LIVE_DESKTOP_BACKGROUND -1

Try this script, it will check everything is installed correctly (I hope) and then display the rear camera, fullscreen, behind the desktop. To stop it just return to XTerm and press Enter.

i cant! but in the future i think it will be possible. iphone has that.

this no worky for me

did as user, got error: no window with name gst-launch
