Are you sure you don't use the user agent switcher program? IIRC there's one that changes the included browsers user agent string.

All sorted. I downloaded and installed hideuseragent app, then removed the customisation. Thanks for everyone's help.

Download HideUserAgent from the app manager. It's the easiest and THE fastest way. And you can also swap so it shows you iOS versions, which are usually the best for mobile sites!
