worth mentioning that Modrana also has an inbuilt function to download map tiles around places/routes.

Wow...somebody moved from Android to N900. Very nice.

I use navit and OSM maps for voice navigatio n on the bike.

Downside is that currently there are not yet good navit packages in extras.

Yeah, I moved from a Galaxy S to the N900.
Not regretted it so far, main reason I moved was I missed the keyboard too much.

Only things I haven't got on the N900 that I would like are a decent sat nav, Citrix client and Lotus Notes traveler.
