Any problems with the screen behaving strangely now, the first thing I do is to remove the protector, and it always seems to be the culprit. Even though it is perfectly applied, with the screen completely cleaned with no dust under protector. It seems to happen whenever. The screen will be working fine for ages, then one day, it will start playing up. Very strange.
Sorry! I don't have screenprotector, but i have this problem with screen. can you tell me please how can i fix this problem

I'm afraid that if you don't have a screen protector on then it's not the same issue. It may be a software problem if you're lucky. Try uninstalling the apps you installed just before the problem started, if that doesn't solve it then a reflash might, that's what i'd do but i'm no expert.

Any better ideas anyone?

Sorry. I wasn't quoting your specific problem. I was speaking in general terms about screen problems. I'm afraid I can't help you.

Removing the screen protector did not work for me. As I wrote in the first post, re-flashing solved the problem temporarily. However, now the problem remains even after re-flashing. I believe this is the end of my time with N900, and probably Nokia in general.
