Thanks mehul but as being a newbie im no good with scripts or codes etc unless someone tells me exactly what to do! I have learn how to do few things since being on this forum but my knowledge is still very limited compared to many very talented people on this forum!

You can refer to overclocking in wiki and it would give you instructions on how to create new profile and undervolt. I use ideal profile and it is good enough to improve battery life for me. You can keep it from 500 to 900Mhz, n900 will take care of switching frequency based on your load. so, I am not sure if you still want a schedule profile change to save battery as it will clock up and down based on your usage.


regarding sending sms, i am not sure how to do it. might require some research on using some dbus command to do it. or probably put a request to alarmd owner and he can help include it :-)
