I claim this is not unknown reason, but very clear. When you start game it shows instructions. At the very first row there are version number e.g. 88.1. And at the last row there are exact version what you are running: e.g. 88.1.272 LIN32 x86.
New version contains new stuff/elements and they are saved (off course), so how old version should treat them?

We need newer version for Fremantle. As I'm the maintainer of this maemo-port (or 'port') you spoke just right person. I already got newest version running on N900, but there are lots of (technical) modifications, so it might takes some time to get it on repositories.

And old maemo version has different screen resolution than official (vanilla) version, because of speed (and wide screen), but then it can't use 'savegames' from another versions. Need to think this.

Thanks dude for your answer. I attached a screenshot of the welcome screen. As you can see, the instructions do not fit in the screen so I usually don't read it.

As you are the maintainer of this port, i'll be sticked to it untill you port the new version to maemo. Thanks again.

PS: I installed the Android version and the problem seems to be the same.

Waiting builder to wake up. Meantime you can test locally built deb. It needs llibstdc++6 version 4.7.2-0 (it is compiled with g++4.7).

Buillder should be working
The issue seems to be here.
Code:
# Add here commands to compile the package.
/usr/bin/python2.5 /opt/scons2/bin/scons --lin --release
make: /usr/bin/python2.5: Command not found
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 127
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2

I was talking about that it silently drops my uploads.

There are now version 88.1 in extras-devel. It uses same resolution (640x480) than original, so they use same 'savefiles'. It is not very fast, small scenes are about 14 fps, more complicated anything between 10...0,01 fps. Previous version was faster, but menus was messed (because of too small resolution). This is playable and feature rich, but maybe too slow to be really fun, decide yourself.
