Why don't you upload it in devel; It would be nice if shortcutd could be changed so that it can be pluggable, ie new apps to create new entries in the options. (something like putting a file in a directory like /etc/shortcutd/apps.d/whatever)

Anyway even without that it's nice when we have more apps on the repos, than lost in a forgotten tmo thread. Also, suggestion, read the first parameter and pass it as delay.

To pop-up notification window, like "Screenshot taken!" you can use (at end of shell script)

Code:
dbus-send --type=method_call --dest=org.freedesktop.Notifications /org/freedesktop/Notifications org.freedesktop.Notifications.SystemNoteDialog string:"<Some text here>" uint32:0 string:""
You can also use variables here, like set P=$<something> as path for screenshot saved, and use it inside <some text here> as $P.

This pop-up will remain until it's clicked upon. You can also use different one, to show notification that disappear on it's own after short time, but, as You like it to show where screenshot was saved, I think it's better idea to let user "stare" at it as long as she/he want.

BTW, saving screenshots can't be called upon as simple command from shell script, instead of some pre-compiled binary?

If you think it's enaught valuable to be pushed into repos, than I'll do it when I can. About shortcutd, you need to contact its author.

Glad you enjoyed it. A beer is not needed, really.
