Updated to version 0.1.1, the crash should be fixed.
@amadeukaos: themes should be packaged as deb and uploaded to the repository IMHO.

I never made a package containing only files (without source code to compile), but you can look at other packages (like ttf-nokiapure) and see how it works and then upload it to the autobuilder.
The autobuilder will generate the deb file and import it in the repo.
https://garage.maemo.org/extras-assistant/index.php
This is the source package of ttf-nokiapure:

No, you don't need Linux.
If you make it please write in the wiki some instructions.

how to get it?i dont see any links on post #1 in regards of qtlckscreenconfig.
sudo gainroot apt-get install qtlockscreenconfig
here are the steps..
place both abctheme.ini and theme images folder named abctheme in opt/qtlockscreen and them killall qtlockscreen
them open qtlockscreen config ... hope this solves for everybody...
edit: once app is opened wait for some time for the screenshots come up, then double tap on the theme you want to set and tap YES and voila.. its set as default theme...
@Sakya: thanks again.. you made my day...
