Man, Nokia must be *kicking* themselves for not planning OS2007 on 770s better.

The 770 is at a mass-market price point now and people are finally talking about it. But everyone who is experiencing the internet tablets now get to see the ugly side of the 770 -> N800 migration and end up seeing the N800 as a wholly different product instead of a faster, more capable version of what they already have in their hands.

Still love my cheap-as-sweet 770, but I certainly won't buy another tablet until I see how the next hardware upgrade is handled.

Nokia have publicly stated that Chinook (Maemo 4.0) through to Diablo (Maemo 5.0 I think but I could be wrong and it's in fact a minor version of 4.x) will support the N800.

I think it's safe to say that Nokia have learned their lesson from the 770 -> N800 upgrade fiasco.

It is completely gone - "Product not found or is not available in this region." Was there few days ago. Sold out?
