Both libtinymail and modest have to be fixed in order crashes to stop. The .deb on the link fixes only part of the crashes(tinymail), updated modest will be included int the next CSSU.

Just want to add that the problem must be related to the number of recipients.
I experienced some crashes again yesterday.
The emails I sent had 5+ recipients.
And as MAG mentioned on IRC that the code for handeling recipients was a mess, I must say that everytime Modest crash nowdays I have been sending emails that contains many recipients.
Just as a confirm.

Reset the sending process seems to help in most cases to get the email sent.
This is done by just open MfE settings and press save and restart Modest.

Since last CSSU update to MaemoT1.1 all the modes crashproblems are gone, sofar.

3) run the command : kill <process number found above>

after this if you run the second step again u can see that modest has already restarted with a new process number..
