The other thing is that sometimes when certain program is installed, they have config file/s and those config file/s may still remain. I guess one way to see these (though you may see others as well) is by:
Apart from that I really don't have much of other clue, it could be a really nasty case that one of those programs did make a change within microb and that change was not reversed when the program was removed.Code:dpkg -l| grep -e '^[rc]'

if you want you can try to autoremove osso-browser.
IMPORTANT: take note of all dependancies that you remove
after reinstall all
i have fixed in this way.
