I don't think the push setting works.. I'm not getting messages when app was closed.. -and there is no notification in status bar and event screen.. still a lot of work to do i guess..
It is still a beta, so we could expect it

it should support push, because I can find the option to enable or disable it under push settings in notification settings for the phone..
but i can't see it working

Yahoo or skype account or another messenger are running in background too.
This is just like whatsapp basically, cross platform and fully push enabled meaning reduced battery consumption, and for people without credit and only unlimited internet this is perfect

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

People its a beta, jesus, do you expect everything to start perfect... Stop whining and give some useful feedback to the developers so they can fix any bugs!

The more you moan and go "ohhh its useless" the less likely anything will get done as developers will just not bother.. It happened on the N900 and itll happen for the N9..

If an app doesn't let you load contacts and thats a main use of it, it's considered a failed app...
