That's really strange. I didn't even know N9 was for sale in Korea? Did the Chinese store accept it?

I wish the Lumia fails everywhere inc. China... I have a friend who has a Lumia 800, He took it out in Shanghai underground and the people by him just said "Look at that N9, is really beautiful". And in London tube is opposite, "Why that Lumia is in white?"

The new bookmarks app for the N9 is great and comes from China. Check out this thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=1152439

It organizes things nicely.

I was going to ask if we are sure we are not seeing more counterfeiting and trade theft by China of first world countries inventions.

I was going to ask if we are sure we are not seeing more illegal seizing and domain theft by USA of EMEA/APAC owners (by ICE).

I don't know how it works exactly, but they just reject it from the store completely if it fails any of their technical tests. The annoying thing is it's already in the store and this problem they found isn't new. They just have different people and test different stuff each time I guess. So I submitted a fixed version after a few hours work, but it takes them 5-7 days to test it and approve/deny each time. As for them rejecting it for not running on the original firmware, they tell me "Unfortunately, QA needs to ensure that the apps work properly on the PR 1 firmware due to the fact that majority of users do not upgrade their firmware." Yeah, right.

Also I didn't mean the N9 is sold in Korea, but it's a general ovi store policy I saw. No games allowed on any phones over there ??!

As I recall, during the early days of N9 availability, there were workable approaches to get the Chinese-made N9s working just fine.

Of course, those weren't white, lol.

Off the top of my head, I'd check the forums around October/November timeframe.

Could be that people in China are using Australia based proxies?

Back when the US was a third world country it conveniently ignored European copyrights. Only when the US started producing a significant amount of original works did they start to take non-US copyrights seriously.
