Also, another way of stopping the alarm is flipping the device face-down for a couple of seconds.

Remember to turn it face up again asap otherwise the alarm will be dismissed, not just snoozed.

To be honest, I don't understand the behaviour completely: sometimes the alarm rings again and sometimes not.

I always try to flip the phone, wait 1 sec, then flip it face up again.. but maybe I'm too sleepy in the morning to realize the pattern.. anyone?

Turning the phone face down works for max. two snooze
periods on my N9 whereas power-button or on-screen snooze button
send the phone to snooze for at least 6 periods

From the PR1.2 beta on N950, I see that the alarm buttons are now much bigger but the buttons on the calendar reminders are only a tiny bit larger (maybe due to the larger fond?).

IMHO, the enhancement request hasn't been completely fulfilled.
