How do you find battery consumption? The Nokia Battery app?
I'm not keen on that type of app as the official Nokia Battery Status app for Symbian used to be a big drain in itself.

Enable dev-mode and install "Resource usage analysis"... After that there should be Energy Profiler -app...
edit, EP does not cause any drain...

I eventually got used to my N9 Terrible battery life, I use the following:
1) Facebook, Skype, Gtalk, Twitter, Ebuddy XMS (All set to Available)
2) 2 emails, Gmail & Vodamail set at 10min Refresh (Push On)
3) Feeds from Twitter & facebook set at 30min Refresh
4) About 30min of call per day.
5) 1 hour of music (To and From work)
I don't use videos or browse internet that much, my 3g is always on, my GPS is completely off... And I need all of the above 5.
And my battery only last from 6am to 5pm, by the time I get home it's almost off, first thing I do is charge..... This sucks but eventually I got used to it..... I don't consider myself a heavy user!

try these tips
1)change your connection to 2G instead of 3G since your usage doesn't require high speed
2) try cleaning your phone and re flashing that increased the life of the battery dramatically
