Well if a dev published it for free for a limited period and then wanted to charge for it what can Nokia do for you?
Regardless of if you had it installed earlier the dev's intention can't be blamed on Nokia.
Also just follow Vesuri's or Schturman's methods on backing up a copy of the .deb files so you can install it again regardless of if the dev starts charging for it...
