You can create the file if you don't have it although be careful with the paths...

Idea: Mount some directory at DCIM with the --bind option, that may work.

Just throwing mount and bind into google gives results like this:

Put it into fstab to make the change permanent, else it will vanish after a restart. If you don't know what fstab is: google it and read carefully. You may brick you phone if you do it wrong. You could post the resulting fstab here before saving it, so somebody can tell you if its ok. No more info from me, I have an exam tomorrow.
