I have a n800 with OS2007 and I only recently started fiddling with it.
I installed evince 0.9.0 and with it unrar (had unzip already).
I then tried to open cbr files but they don't even show up in the folders with evince. I proceeded to hectically search teh internets for solutions and found a wide variety of solutions for older versions. Eventually found myself here.

I switched to root with xterm and did
apt-get install shared-mime-info
but I was informed that my shared-mime-info was already the newest version.

What tricks should I try next?
