The biggest problem I see from time to time is that people just are not familiar with command line. I myself do not use windows (and haven't since XP, maybe some five years ago) but I do remember using CMD a lot when I still had windows.

Is it really so that nowdays with windows 7/8/9 (whatever is the current version) command line is not needed anymore?

When you blindly just copy/paste stuff people tell you to, and omit/add things there at will it is for sure a receipe to ask for trouble.
