While you were typing I made a Jet Black preorder. Page said April-May 2013 shipped out, which is fine by me. I guess your release will be mature by then judging by the speed so far.
Once it gets here, count me in for any testing, developing or marketing needed.

Btw, notifications sink, are you hooking up on that?
So that 3rf party apps like Wazapp or Nelisquare can also push notifications to Pebble?
And what language are you using? Qt, Python...

I haven't done anything with notification sink yet, but I'll have a poke at that next. It's all in python . My current plan is to release it under the GPL with a gitorious repo that people can build from if they want, but charge a small fee for the pre-built version in the Ovi Store (I doubt there'll be much demand for it though).

We'll see about demand.
Python is cool.
You got my pesos so don't worry.
And I'll try to contact Pebble themselves once it works.

I see the manufacturers of the Pebble watch are still lying to their customers, marketing the display as "E-Paper" when it uses an LCD display.

Does this Rockwatch project build upon javispedro's work on the SmartOpenWatch framework? If not, is there any chance you can adapt this to make it compatible so we can have a common app platform for both the Pebble and MetaWatch?

Python is actually the best bet, since libpebble is built on python and he can use it directly (I just guess he is). I actually did get it running on my N9 yesterday, but if I've checked here first, I guess I would have waited

@Elleo: Did you also get lightblue running? SoWatch integration would be great too (if possible).

Yep, it's using libpebble and I've got lightblue support working. So far I've only been focusing on Pebble support (that's all I have to test with), but I'll try and design things in such a way as to make it easy for people to contribute backends for other watches.

Nothing new yet I'm afraid, I've been a bit busy with work recently.
