Try to reinstall desktop-file-utils
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall -y desktop-file-utils
Look into my post, if you have similar red icons, it's should help you (it worked for me).

Thanks, well I guess I won't know if that'll fix it since I tried the refhashlist thing and bricked it and reflashed

Next time I'll try it.
